This study presents a technical and economic feasibility assessment for repowering New York State Canal Corporation (NYSCC) diesel work boats with hybrid-electric and full-electric cigarette online usa powertrains. Over the next decade, NYSCC will need to rebuild or replace many of the work boat vessel engines. The vessels themselves are historical so will likely remain in service, so upgrading the powertrain is the most probable path. The results of this Phase I project are intended to provide NYSCC with the technical and economic information needed to develop electric boat fleet deployment and charging infrastructure expansion plans.
